Lindenderry Wedding in the Mornington Peninsula

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of documenting Amy and Alain’s Lindenderry wedding in the picturesque Red Hill region of Mornington Peninsula.

One look at the happy couple and I knew they were meant to be together, from the excitement to the tears of joy and finally to the happiness on their faces when they were finally married. One thing I love about these two beautiful people is how caring they are of one another; Al is the epitome of chivalry – that’s right, chivalry ain’t dead! It’s alive and well!

I first met Amy when I was working at the bank three years ago and we immediately clicked, so when she asked me to photograph her wedding, I was beyond EXCITED and I’m so honoured to be sharing their love story with you now..

It was only 18 months ago that Amy met Al for the first time after agreeing on a first date after a gym session. Fast forward to January 2018 and at the top of Diamond Head in Hawaii, Al (ever the gentleman) got down on bended knee to propose to Amy; it was of course all captured on video by a couple of Korean tourists, who much to their surprise and delight were not expecting a marriage proposal when Al asked them to capture the moment.

The wedding day was absolutely perfect, with mild temperatures for early September, to gorgeous soft light (a photographers dream!). I nearly died when I saw Amy’s dress, it looked like a fairy princess dress and when she stepped into it, she looked absolutely radiant (not to mention, it complimented her baby bump to perfection). Al’s face said it all when he saw Amy walking down the isle toward him. The wedding ceremony was intimate with close family members and friends witnessing these two love bird committing their lives to one another..

Amy and Al, it was an absolute joy to celebrate with you on your beautiful and memorable wedding day! I am so happy for the both of you now that you’re officially hitched 😉 It was such an honour to serve the both of you! Congratulations once again! xo
