How Do We Book?

We love your style, what do we do now?

I’m so excited you’re interested in working together! Just simply fill in my contact form and we’ll go from there.

Can we meet you first?

Of course! I love to get to know my couples and the best way to figure out if we’ll vibe is with a face to face meeting – coffee, tea, beer or wine? Your choice! If you’re not able to meet in person, we can schedule a Skype or phone call that suits you.

We’re totally vibing! How do we lock in our date?

A signed contract and booking fee of $1000 will secure your date with the balance paid 14 days before your wedding. Then we can look forward to creating some truly magical memories!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! As a matter of fact, I do! I know weddings are expensive and I want to make it as easy as possible for you to work with me. The balance after the booking fee can be broken down into 1/2s, 1/3s or 1/4s – easy peasy!


We’re a bit camera shy and hate awkward posey stuff, will this be a problem?

Not at all! I’m super chill and spend most of the day capturing raw, candid moments and not putting you into awkward poses.  During portraits, I recommend some alone time with just the three of us to capture those magical quiet moments, the fun and silly moments and everything in between.  Don’t worry, if you’re feeling lost, I’ll give you some direction to help everything happen naturally.

Do you work off a shot list?

I am most inspired when I am given the freedom to create beautiful images for you and I’d hate to miss any beautiful moments just because I’m constantly referring to a list. This means I don’t work off a shot list. However if there is someone special or a sentimental piece that you want captured, then absolutely let me know.

Do you do engagement shoots?

Absolutely! Engagement sessions are a great way for us to get to know each other better and for a practice run before the big day. We’ll have up to an hour to create some truly magical images that you can print, use for your save-the-dates, your wedding website and of course for Facebook + Instagram.

What if it rains?

Ah Melbourne, gotta love our four seasons in a day! But don’t worry, I’m always armed with cute umbrellas and a wet weather plan just in case it rains. So even if it’s pouring, we’ll capture some truly memorable moments!

When should we schedule our couples portraits on the day?

Try to avoid the middle of the day (11am – 4pm in daylight savings) as this is the harshest light of the day and will result in unflattering highlights and shadows on faces. Don’t stress though, I can always find open shaded areas during this time of day.  

I absolutely LOVE sunset! The most beautiful light of the day usually happens an hour before the sun sets – it’s like a natural Instagram filter where everything glows and looks amazing! If we’re already done with portraits for the day, I’ll usually pull you out of your reception to take advantage of this light.  Don’t worry, I only need 10-15 minutes and you’ll thank me later – promise!

How much coverage do I need?

It depends on what you would like captured. Six hours is enough if you only want images of your ceremony, portraits and the start of your reception, or if you want whole day captured from start to finish, eight to ten hours is ideal.

Do you have a second photographer?

It’s just me. If you really, really want a second photographer, I’m happy to organise this for you, however I’m pretty good at getting everywhere I need to be.

Do you edit every picture?

Yes I do. I make sure every image delivered to you is consistent with my style and colour pallet.

Will you give us RAW files?

Sorry, no can do. Providing RAW files is akin to a baker giving you your wedding cake without all the pretty decorations. The images you receive will be consistent with what you see in my gallery.

How many images will we receive and when will we receive them?

It depends on your coverage time and how many guests you have, but I average 60 – 100 images per hour of shooting.  Online galleries are usually ready 4-5 weeks after the wedding. Albums are delivered within 5 weeks of design approval.


Is travel included?

There is no travel cost for weddings within 100 km from Melbourne. If your wedding is over 100 km from Melbourne, I can provide you with a quote when you enquire.

Do you do interstate/overseas weddings?

Heck yes! I love to travel! Any excuse for an adventure really.. And if it’s to shoot a gorgeous wedding, then I’m all in! I’ll work with you to keep costs down to a minimum.

Albums + Prints

Do you make albums?

I sure do! Your wedding album is your very first family heirloom and I encourage all my couples to seriously consider investing in one. Each artisan album is custom designed and made using the finest museum grade inks and paper, my artisan albums are made to stand the test of time, just like your marriage.

Can we get our favourite images printed?

Definitely! Your images are an investment into the memories of your wedding day and there is something so special about being able to touch a printed photograph. I’ve partnered with Melbourne’s best printing lab using the finest archival inks and premium fine art paper to bring your memories to life… at cost price – imagine that! Oh the love just keeps on flowing!
